Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Monday, August 28, 2017 John “Jack” William Amyot of Cornwall; age 83 years.  Beloved husband of Reine.  Loving father of Tony and Aero.  Cherished grandfather and great grandfather.  Sadly missed by his siblings Father Timothy, Frank, Greg, Mike, Mary, Sister Patricia, Joan, Betty and Jenny.  Predeceased by his parents John and Louella (nee Mundt) Amyot, and one brother Leo. 



Funeral Arrangements


Family and friends will be received at the McArthur Bros. & MacNeil Funeral Home & Chapel, 428 Second Street East, Cornwall on Saturday, September 2, 2017 where the Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated in the chapel at 1:00 p.m.  Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association gratefully acknowledged by the family.  Condolences may be made at
