DALE GORDON FROATS

 

Peacefully on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at Cornwall Hospice Dale Gordon Froats of Cornwall; age 66.  Beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Hogan).  Loving father of Tracy (Garry) Casselman of Chesterville, Sandi (Roger) Froats of Cornwall and Tanya (Brian) Bergeron of Martintown.  Cherished grandfather of Roger, Micheal, Melanie, Sarah, Chris, Kurstie, Jazmyne, Zachary and seven great grandchildren.  Dear brother of Barrie of Cornwall, Connie Coughler of Inkerman and David (Cindy) of Chesterville.  Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Carl and Goldie (nee Durant) Froats, and one brother-in-law Tommy Coughler. 

 

 

Funeral Arrangements

 

A private celebration of Dale’s life will take place at a later date.  Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society gratefully acknowledged.  Arrangements entrusted to McArthur Bros. & MacNeil Funeral Home & Chapel, 428 Second Street East, Cornwall (613 932-6300).  Condolences may be made at www.mcarthurbrosfh.com.

I worked with Dale for many years, and am saddened by his passing. My sympathy to all the family in this very difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My sincere condolences to the entire family for your loss of Dale.I was very impressed and thankful that you all were very attentive to his needs and supported him so well while he was at Hospice. My deepest sympathy Barrie for the loss of your brother as such a young age. It will be 5 years that Tom has left in August. How times flies....I hope you are doing ok and please get in touch with me when you have a chance - I am still living in Cornwall too.

I was very much sadden to hear of my Friend Dale's passing.
My Sincere Condolences goes out to his wife Evelyn and all his daughters
and his family.No words can really descrive the pain of a parent or loved one and the loss of a family member and of good friend. My Dear Friend I will miss you and your big smile and your big laugh and always a quick joke. Now he's in heaven his suffering has ended.
Dale was a very good friend of mine also.He had a very good heart always giving and helping out anyone and in anyway he could. Good People are rare and he surely was to me one of them. Good bye my friend Dale Froats tell we meet again Michael Desjardins. To the family again I'm sorry for your loss.
